Our LEC team is trained to use a special cleaning system that removes any organic growth and grime on the walls or any other exterior surface. This includes garages, outbuildings, aluminum buildings, dollhouses, and exterior gas tanks. We use an industry accepted cleaning solution and a soft washing system that delivers lots of water, with less pressure to protect your siding and roof materials. Plants that are close to the house are rinsed and covered, to protect from any cleaning solution. Each wall of your house receives 3 water applications, first to wet it and prepare it for the soap solution, second, the soap solution, and third, a final rinse of clear water to remove the dirt, grime and solution from the house.
Pricing is determined by the square footage of your home, sidewalks, driveways, patios, etc. Combining services, such as patio cleaning, driveways, and sidewalks with a house wash results in greater savings. The more we clean, the greater the discount.

We provide services such as cabin opening and the initial clean for the spring, a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly cleaning, cleaning services before and after you leave, whatever you need in cleaning services. We can start up again in the spring, or prepare and clean up after any visit all year long.
We determine costs based on square footage, type of clean, number of bedrooms, and number of bathrooms. The initial clean is always more costly so as to get the level of cleanliness up to standards. A weekly service has a 20% discount, a bi-weekly service has a 15% discount, and a monthly service has a 10% discount for the Regular Maintenance Cleaning.
We are a division of Lakeshore Exterior Cleaning, a company that has been in the area since 2020. We have a great reputation for exterior cleaning in the lakeshore area, and now we have entered the interior house cleaning business.
Our cleaners have a minimum or 2 years experience in residential cleaning. They are the most talented cleaners in the area. A background check is conducted prior to working with them. All are referrals from other cleaners and cleaning businesses.
Preparing for your House Cleaning with A Clean House Division of Lakeshore Exterior Cleaning
- Remember that the cleaner has a 1 hour window for arrival. If your appointment is for 9:00, the cleaner has an arrival window from 9:00 to 10:00. This reduces stress for the customer and the cleaner.
- Please be present for the initial cleaning so that you can meet the cleaner, walk around your home and tell him/her exactly what you want done in each area. Also, when he/she is finished, again walk around with him/her to be sure everything is to your satisfaction. Sign the cleaning list he/she is working from, to show your consent to the cleaning, and that you are satisfied. This is very important, as all areas you want recleaned can be finished before the cleaner leaves. If you cannot be present during the beginning and ending of the cleaning, please have someone else who can explain your areas of concern, as well as approve the cleaning at the end. We try to do re-cleans in the same visit, so all is to your satisfaction before the cleaner leaves your home.
- Be sure most of the clutter is picked up before the cleaner arrives. Extra clutter and disorganization can take up time that could be used doing the actual cleaning, resulting in increased fees for you.
- Have your vacuum ready for use, as well as any cleaning supplies you want the cleaner to use.
- If you need to cancel, please do so before 24 hours of your appointment. Before this time, you may reschedule or cancel without penalty.There is a $25 cancellation fee if your appointment is cancelled from 24 to 2 hours before the scheduled visit, and if cancelled within 2 hours of the visit or not at all, the fee is the full price of the cleaning. This same fee applies if the service provider cannot gain entry into the home.
The first time the cleaner comes to your home, we request that you be present to walk through your home with the cleaner, focusing on areas that you are most concerned about. After service, the cleaner will walk again with you through the house to be sure nothing has been missed, or not completed to your satisfaction. When you are happy, the cleaner will ask you to sign the phone app, stating you are happy with her work. Your credit card will be charged only after the signed phone app document with your signature has been received by us. We want to do it right the first time.
Upon booking a cleaning, you will be asked for your credit card. A hold for the amount of your cleaning will be put in place, but the card will only be charged upon completion of the service, after receiving your signature from the phone app, stating you are happy with the cleaning. You may also pay with a check.
You may reschedule or cancel your appointment before 5:00 pm of the day before your cleaning with no penalty. If cancellation is within 24 hours to 2 hours of your appointment after 5:00 pm, the charge is $25. If the cancellation is within 2 hours of your appointment, the charge is the entire cost of the cleaning. This also applies if the cleaner is unable to gain access to the home in order to clean.
We ask that you allow the cleaner to use your vacuum and mop and bucket. This prevents any type of cross-contamination. If you have any special products that you want the cleaner to use, please have it for her. If you prefer, the cleaner will bring all the supplies.
We are closed on New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving Day. Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. If your booking occurs on one of those days, we will call ahead of time and reschedule.
You can keep the same cleaner. If for some reason, this cleaner is not available, we will have another cleaner who is familiar with your home and your preferences.
A monthly cleaning comes with a 10% discount from the initial clean cost. A bi-weekly cleaning has a 15% discount, and a weekly cleaning has a 20% discount for the Maintenance Cleaning.
We offer a One Time Deep Clean or First Time Clean, a Maintenance Clean, and a Move In/Out Clean, a Post Construction Clean, and a Heavy Clean (for Hoarder houses, extreme trash, etc.)

We charge $15 per pet. This is because of pet hair that accumulates on the floor, baseboards, furniture, etc. If you leave them alone with us, please be sure they have adequate food, water, and a place for them to do their business. It is best if they are confined to a cage or area where they will not need attention from the cleaner. Please note, we do not clean up animal waste as it can be a hazard to our team members and contaminate our cleaning supplies.

Before the cleaner leaves, go over the house together, and point out areas that you are not satisfied with. Let the cleaner re-clean to your satisfaction. Sign the phone app only when you are satisfied. Cleaners are paid only when the job is complete. Your credit card is only charged when you have signed the phone app, indicating that you are happy with the cleaning.
The quote that you receive is good for 2 weeks. After that, prices may change. We reserve the right to increase prices at any time. As the needs or conditions of your home change, you may receive a price increase. If you terminate and reinstate service with us a new rate may be given.
For the first time, one time cleanings, or deep cleans, Most of the time we complete the work within that range. However, if the cleaner finds the house will require more time than allotted, they will contact management, and we will contact you for instruction to either finish the work at an additional fee, or to focus on the work that you give priority to, and stop at the appropriate time. It’s your decision.
That’s entirely up to you. You can give him/her cash, or leave it on the booking app, to be included in your charge.
We ask that you be present for your initial cleaning, in order to meet your cleaner, show her what you specifically want done, and to check her work afterward. We ask you to sign her worksheet, to indicate your satisfaction. If we will be cleaning for you while you're not home you can leave the door unlocked, use a hide-a-key or incorporate a door code. We do not take keys.
We lift and clean underneath most items. If our service provider can lift the item with one hand while performing the cleaning task with the other, it will be moved. If the surface has 6 or more items or if there are several items where they do not belong, we will consider that an encumbrance and clean around it as much as possible. If you are unsure if you have encumbrances based on our definitions, please reach out to the office for clarification.
All homes must have electricity, and running hot water for us to complete the cleaning.
We are obligated as a company to ensure that our team has a safe working environment.
Because of this, if the following are present in your home, we may ask to reschedule your visit or rectify the situation prior to completing your visit:
-Temperatures in the home lower than 66 degrees or higher than 70
-Smoking in the home (of any type) while the cleaner is completing the visit
-Visitors/Clients/Contractors that make the cleaner feel uncomfortable
-Aggressive or disruptive animals of any type
We will not be able to complete any area that requires us to be higher than 2 steps on our step ladder. All areas of flooring need to be level and in good repair. Any item that we are responsible for maintaining should also be free from any damage that could cause injury. Broken mirrors, sharp pieces of metal protruding, ill hung light fixtures or wall art, along with any other item that poses a potential hazard for our team or may cause damage to your home will be skipped at the discretion of the team members on site.
We are unable to clean bug infestations, large amounts of bodily fluids, fire damage, or damage from natural disasters, but we can find another company to help you.
If our cleaners do not feel safe in a home they will leave. Name calling, yelling, aggressive behavior, or inappropriate sexual behavior/innuendos will not be tolerated towards or in the presence of any cleaner.
We do not clean areas with prescription medications, jewelry, weapons, or cash on them. If these items are not picked up when we come to clean, we will skip those surfaces. We also do not move most large furniture or appliances as part of a regularly scheduled clean. If you would like items cleaned behind or under, we ask that you discuss a solution with management prior to your clean.

A basic wash caresses every exterior inch of your coach with wash mitts, soft brushes, and lambswool pads to ensure it has a long life and continues to turn heads, on the highway as well as in the park.
